John, do you want to know why the Trump administration and Republicans are hell-bent on manipulating congressional maps across the country? It’s as simple as this:

What is Trump's approval rating? 58% say Trump's first year is a failure - USA Today, Jan. 16, 2026.

Donald Trump and his extreme anti-democracy allies are failing — and they’re conspiring to rig the midterms to stay in power.

History shows that midterm elections are typically challenging for the party that controls the White House. Now, as Trump’s approval rating and his policies flounder, these folks are staring down the prospect of losing power.

That’s why they're going out of their way to undermine fair, representative democracy ahead of November. With egregious gerrymanders passed in Texas, Missouri, and North Carolina, and pressure on Florida, South Carolina, and others to follow suit, this redistricting crisis is getting out of hand.

We need to double down on our efforts to stop the Trump power grab and ensure these efforts fail. Fund our fight as we defend democracy wherever it’s under attack: [[link removed]]

A level playing field in November spells trouble for Trump and MAGA Republicans around the country. It threatens their grasp on power. It risks real investigations into the corruption and lawless behavior we’ve seen during this administration. And it risks Trump being impeached… again.

That’s why they don’t want the will of the people to be heard. That’s their plan to skirt accountability.

But people are starting to get wise to their scheme. Voters don’t want mid-decade map redraws designed just to help Republicans hold on to Congress. Even some Republican lawmakers are worried about these redraws backfiring as we saw in Indiana where a bipartisan coalition shot down the Trump administration’s redistricting plan.

This is what the NDR PAC is built to do. And the weeks ahead are crunch time. We must keep fighting.

Our grassroots mobilization is making it harder for Trump and Republicans to have their way and undermine our democracy. Chip in to power more action to ensure the will of the people prevails: [[link removed]]
