The last week has shown us that standing together as a community is how we show our strength.
Yesterday was our Cost of Living Day of Action. I hosted a Continuum of Care Roundtable with members of Washtenaw County housing assistance organizations. At a time when housing costs only continue to rise, CoC provides federal funding to housing service providers and local governments to rehouse homeless individuals and families.
I truly appreciate that Michiganders look out for one another when times get tough, and it’s time for the federal government to do the same.
