Donald Trump and his allies hate the thought of me becoming Governor so much they’re making up phony residency allegations claiming I’m not a Californian to keep me off the ballot.
This lawsuit is from a fringe MAGA activist who made movies claiming that Elvis is still alive and pushed the ridiculous “birther” conspiracies about President Obama.
This whole thing is a bunch of nonsense! Most members of Congress have two residences: one in their district and one in Washington D.C.
I was born and raised in Dublin, I have represented California’s 14th district for 13 years, I have a California driver’s license, and I pay California taxes.
So let’s call this for what it is: Another conspiracy theory designed to keep me from becoming California’s next Governor… because they can’t stand the idea of me having the power to stand up to Donald Trump.
Maybe they’ll demand I release my birth certificate next!
