This week even as we honor the life and legacy of John Lewis --
a great American who put his life on the line for voting rights --
Donald Trump and the GOP are working to limit those rights and
make it harder for many Americans to cast a vote.

Since the Supreme Court's infamous 2013 decision not to renew
key parts of the Voting Rights Act of 1965, the Republican party
and its allies have been working overtime to make it harder for
minorities and young people to vote. Trump himself has been
crystal clear that he believes he can only win through
discriminatory methods -- like curtailing Vote by Mail.

With the threat of mass disenfranchisement hanging over our
elections, we need our Republican colleagues to join us NOW in
support of the John Lewis Voting Rights Act -- in honor of a true
American hero.
