Corporate greed is fueling Trump’s violent, deadly immigration crackdown. One such company that is enabling and profiting off of ICE violence is Verizon, which has a $176 million contract with the Department of Homeland Security.
As a result of Trump’s 2017 and 2025 tax scams, Verizon has saved tens of billions of dollars in taxes as its effective tax rate was cut in half. And its top five executives have likely each saved millions of dollars in taxes while enjoying compensation packages totaling over $500 million.
Verizon is providing communications infrastructure to DHS, ICE, and CBP, including technology services that power ICE’s deadly abuses in our streets and in detention facilities.
Corporations have proven susceptible to public pressure. Send a message to Verizon leadership now and demand they end their contract with ICE and stop supporting ICE detention and death.
Through our research and activism, we’re holding greedy corporations accountable and demanding an end to ICE violence. We recently launched a new website, ICE’s Corporate Collaborators: Exposed, to shine a light on corporations profiting off of ICE abuse and off of Trump’s tax cuts.
Together, it’s up to us to apply pressure to these corporations and demand they end their complicity in this administration’s acts of violence and violations of our rights.
