We've officially had Trump as our president for a full year.

john,

It's our first end-of-month deadline of 2026, and we've officially had Donald Trump back in the Oval Office for a full year now.

And what an eventful year it's been…

In just twelve months, we've seen how much damage can be done when chaos, corruption, cruelty, and a quest for absolute power go unchecked.

We've seen reckless decisions that cost people their jobs, sky-high tariffs that raise prices for families already stretched thin, and unqualified extremists like RFK Jr. elevated into positions of power.

In recent days we’ve seen Trump weaponize his personal brutal police force, ICE, in American cities. Untrained agents have acted with impunity, particularly after the president said they have absolute immunity, and they have assaulted non-violent protesters and murdered two U.S. citizens for exercising their first amendment rights. They are terrorizing communities. What country are we living in?!

We also saw Trump's Big, Ugly, Bill pushed through Congress that helps the wealthy and well-connected while working families pay the price. This has been an eventful year—in the worst ways. But there's hope, john: We may be facing three more years of Donald Trump as an out of control president, but we can deprive him of a Republican Congress that rubber-stamps his agenda.

This November, we have a real chance to change course. We can flip the House and put a much-needed check on this president. We can start standing up for working people instead of special interests by electing qualified, people-first candidates to Congress. And we can keep the priorities of WA-08 front and center in Congress by holding this seat for Democrats. But our work needs to start now.

Can you chip in today to help us reach our first end-of-month fundraising goal of 2026 and take the first step of the year toward flipping the House? Every contribution brings us closer to restoring balance, accountability, and common sense in Congress.
