Career & Resume Coaching Day

Tuesday, Feb 3 | 10 AM–2 PM

The Center is proud to offer a day of free career and resume coaching hosted by business professionals from various companies and industries. Participants will have 15–20 minutes with a coach to review their resume or talk about best interview practices. Registration is required. Please bring more than one printed copy of your resume.

35mm Photography & Zine-Making Group

Feb 9–March 23 | Mondays 4–5:30 PM

(ages 13–22)

Explore queer history by activating The Center’s National History Archive Youth while creating zines using your own 35mm photographs. Youth will shoot and develop 35mm film photographs while learning about New York queer history and artists.

Celebrate Black History Month by shopping from Black-owned businesses, enjoying live performances from Bertha Veneyshun and the Drag History Hour crew, and participating in a Poetry Slam Battle with a grand prize all hosted by poet and artist Rico Revels.

Make new friends while exploring your identity, coming out, and other related decision-making. Build community while learning skills to cope with stress, navigate relationships, explore spirituality, and develop advocacy skills.

Love Yourself Dance

Join us for our annual Love Yourself Dance! In partnership with Live Out Loud, this year’s dance is all about exploring and expressing our diverse identities! DJ Muse Doddwill be spinning beats while our photobooth captures all the unforgettable moments. Food and refreshments will be served, and free MetroCards will be provided.
