From Grief to Partnership: An Inspirational Conversation with Aziz Abu Sarah & Maoz Inon At a moment when public conversations about Israel and Palestine feel more polarized than ever, New Jewish Narrative is bringing together two voices who refuse to give up on our shared humanity. Maoz Inon’s parents were killed by Hamas on October 7. Aziz Abu Sarah’s brother died shortly after being beaten in an Israeli prison. But these two individuals did not turn their pain into a desire for retribution. Instead, they draw on their personal tragedies to fuel peace activism. Their partnership is an inspirational example that challenges the idea that Israelis and Palestinians are destined to be adversaries. The webinar will take place on Wednesday, February 4 at 11 AM Eastern Time. |

Mobilizing Against “Racist, Discriminatory and Indefensible” Death Penalty Bill in Israel New Jewish Narrative joined T'ruah and 12 other American Jewish organizations in a letter denouncing the death penalty bill now under consideration by the Knesset. The letter highlights the discriminatory nature of the bill, which effectively creates different punishments for Palestinians and Israelis for similar criminal acts. Peace Now Leads Haaretz Editorial Team in Tour of the West Bank Peace Now's Settlement Watch team frequently brings reporters, diplomats, and Members of Knesset on guided tours of the West Bank. The tours are designed to shed light on the harsh realities of escalating settler violence, settlement growth, and steps towards annexation. A recent tour of the West Bank for Haaretz editorial staff resulted in a feature article that ran as the front page of Haaretz’s Gallery Section. That article opens with a poignant description of the impacts of settler efforts to evict 135 families from the village of Ras Ein al-Auj in the Jordan Valley. |
