This U.S. Senate campaign has never been about me; it has always been about Floridians, and making sure that our families have a representative who fights for us.

I got into this race because I believe Florida can be better. Because I refuse to accept a future where parents are forced to choose between rent, groceries, and healthcare. Because we have politicians who are busy playing power games and fighting culture wars.

I live the same life most Floridians do. I’m not a millionaire, I’m not part of a political establishment. I know what it’s like to have two jobs just to make ends meet, and I know what it’s like to stand up against extremism.

To take it head on.
To refuse to back down.
And to win, even when it’s really hard.

I am so deeply grateful for everyone who has believed in this campaign but most of all, I am so thankful for my husband and my daughter because they remind me every single day why this fight matters.

I’m stepping out of this race, but I am not stepping out of the fight.

This is a moment for us to reunite and to focus on what’s right. And to do what it will take to defeat Ashley Moody. We need to bring decency, sanity, and affordability back to the State of Florida.

That is why I am so proud to endorse Lieutenant Colonel Alex Vindman for the United States Senate. Alex is building a campaign that is putting Florida back on the map. And I will do everything I can to help him succeed.

As for me, I’m going to have a major announcement in the next coming days, so please stay tuned.

We have so much work to do, Florida. But I am still in this fight with you.
