In this episode, Chairman Power sits down with RNC Chairman and Sen. Joe Gruters. He was first elected as a Senator in 2018 and as RNC Chairman in 2025.
Senator Joe Gruters represents Florida Senate District 22, which includes parts of Sarasota and Manatee Counties. He earned his undergraduate degree from Florida State University and later received his Master of Business Administration from the University of South Florida. Prior to serving in elected office, Senator Gruters worked as a certified public accountant. His involvement in politics began at the local level through participation in the Sarasota County Republican Executive Committee, where he would go on to serve as Chairman for more than a decade. A close ally of President Donald Trump, Gruters played a key role in building and leading Florida’s Republican infrastructure during Trump’s rise in national politics. He was first elected to the Florida House of Representatives in 2016 and later to the Florida Senate in 2018. Gruters served as Chairman of the Republican Party of Florida from 2019 to 2023 and was later elected Chairman of the Republican National Committee in 2025 with the strong support of President Trump.
