It’s simply unimaginable, yet it’s happening right now: This president and his administration are declaring war on the American people.
First, Renee Nicole Good was shot and killed for simply witnessing ICE in action. Two weeks later, ICU nurse Alex Pretti was fatally shot as he tried to stop aggressive ICE agents. Good and Pretti were trying to protect their communities, and now they’re gone at the hands of their government.
These citizens were not domestic terrorists despite Stephen Miller and his cronies’ manipulation of evidence. We can see through their sick efforts to pervert the laws to suit their twisted ends. Now, the Minnesota National Guard is out in the streets protecting state residents from our own federal government.
There is no question: What’s happening in Minnesota is not an insurrection; it is regular citizens like you and me standing up for our democracy.
