Dear Friend,

I’m excited to share that the National Center for Law and Economic Justice will host our 2026 Justice Maker Awards Gala on Tuesday, May 19, 2026!

As our biggest event of the year, the Gala will celebrate our mission, inspire attendees, and showcase our ongoing legal efforts to advance economic, racial, and disability justice on behalf of low-income people at a time when our work could not be more salient.

From dismantling barriers to SNAP access for low-income families across the country, to combating the extreme wage theft of 24-hour homecare workers, to fighting for accommodations for disabled returning citizens, NCLEJ is making a measurable difference for countless communities across the country. Our 2026 Gala will help raise the critical funds needed to continue our important work.

We will also celebrate two exciting and dynamic honorees who are making an impact in their respective fields: Anna Domyancic, Deputy Chief Legal Officer, US of Scotiabank; and Ryan Haygood, President and CEO of the New Jersey Institute for Social Justice. NCLEJ is proud to highlight the work of exceptional individuals who are going above and beyond to serve marginalized people and communities.
