140 lawmakers are now backing articles of impeachment against Kristi Noem, including House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries.1

After ICE and Border Patrol murdered Renee Good and Alex Pretti in Minneapolis, lawmakers are building the pressure to hold Noem accountable. Leader Jeffries said, “Kristi Noem should be fired immediately, or we will commence impeachment proceedings in the House of Representatives.”2

The articles of impeachment charge Noem with violating the public trust because of ICE’s relentless violence against civilians.3 Kristi Noem’s reign of terror overseeing ICE and Border Patrol needs to end immediately. Urge your U.S. Representative to hold Noem accountable now!

The articles of impeachment also charge Noem with obstructing congressional oversight by repeatedly blocking lawmaker access to ICE facilities, and accuse her of misusing taxpayer dollars at DHS by handing a $200 million advertising contract to a firm run by the husband of her chief propagandist at DHS.4

Rep. Jared Huffman, who has been critical of impeachment efforts in the past, is now backing the articles against Noem. He said, “the circumstances are so extreme that a message needs to be sent.”5

The House must act now to hold the DHS Secretary accountable for the systematic violation of human rights, civil liberties, and the rule of law.
