This event centers lived experience and provides a space for community members to share concerns, ask questions, and help shape future accessibility initiatives. Your lived experience matters and we are here to listen.
What to Expect.
Upstream Access will share practical strategies for emergency preparedness tailored to your unique needs, covering:
- Evacuation planning and accessible routes
- Ensuring access to food, water, and medications
- Maintaining power for essential medical equipment and assistive devices
- Preparing for ice storms, wildfires, earthquakes, and other regional hazards
Interactive Discussion.
Following the presentation, we invite you to share your questions, concerns, and experiences. This is your opportunity to:
- Ask questions about emergency planning specific to your situation
- Share concerns about current preparedness resources
- Connect with others facing similar challenges
- Help shape future accessibility initiatives
