Friend,
I’m writing to share something important with you: Today I am endorsing my fellow Midwesterner Sherrod Brown for the United States Senate.
I hope you’ll consider joining me in supporting him by chipping into his campaign today.

You might say I’m biased – Midwestern roots run deep when it comes to loyalty and your sense of what matters. But what I admire most about Sherrod isn’t just where he’s from. It’s what guides him. He’s built his life in public service around a simple, powerful idea: the Dignity of Work. He believes that everyone – no matter their background, their ZIP code, or their job title – deserves respect, security, and a fair shot. He insists that if you put in an honest day’s work, you ought to be able to build a stable life and look to the future with confidence.
Our politics should honor the people who keep our communities running, not overlook them.
Sherrod has spent his career doing just that: showing up in communities others ignore, telling the truth even when it’s uncomfortable, and standing with working people even when it means taking on entrenched power.
His record reflects that commitment. He’s fought to protect pensions so retirees can count on what they earned. He’s taken on pharmaceutical companies to lower prescription drug costs. He’s stood up to corporations that put profit ahead of people. Again and again, he’s stood up to powerful interests in the name of working families, often when it wasn’t easy.
There’s also a bigger picture here. There is no path to building a Senate that delivers for working families without flipping this seat. No strategy for moving our country forward that doesn’t run through Ohio. The direction of our politics in the years ahead will depend, in no small part, on whether Sherrod Brown continues to serve.
Bottom line: Ohio won’t find a stronger champion for working people.
That’s why I’m asking: If you’re able, I hope you’ll consider chipping in today to help power this grassroots campaign and flip this important Senate seat.

Pete
