On Saturday, January 31, Women’s March is mobilizing with 50501 for a National Day of Action to get #ICEOutOfEverywhere.
From our partners at 50501: We will show up at ICE detention centers, ICE field offices, congressional offices, airports, and at businesses that support the deportation industrial complex. Our aim is to interrupt the routines that normalize ICE violence. Make no mistake: there is nothing normal about what ICE does in our name.
Our demands are clear: Congress must block DHS funding and remove ICE and CBP from our streets permanently. We must abolish ICE and dismantle DHS. The American government owes justice to the families of Renee Nicole Good, Alex Pretti, Geraldo Campos, Keith Porter, and every victim of ICE.
Show up on January 31. Bring your friends. Call your Congressperson and demand that they block DHS funding. If there is no action near you, sign up to host one.
There will be no “business as usual” until ICE is gone. We refuse to bow to state terror.
