Youth Leadership Team Applications Now Open
The Youth Leadership Team will serve as the steering committee for the youth ministries of the Annual Conference. Through Conference-wide training, service, and mission opportunities and other spiritual retreats and events, the YLT will have opportunities for spiritual growth and discipleship. They will be encouraged to discover their gifts, equipped and empowered to use their gifts to help the Conference and the local church to be culturally relevant and committed to the ministry for the Next Generation. National Care Ministry Webinar – Feb. 20–21, 2026
The Caring Congregation invites pastors, church staff, and volunteers to its National Care Ministry Webinar, streaming live Feb. 20–21, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. CT each day. This foundational training equips churches to build effective, Christ-centered care ministries. Sessions cover theological foundations of care, prayer, listening and boundaries, visitation and care ministry leadership. Participants receive a certificate for 10 contact hours, access to recordings, and follow-up support. Registration is $250 per person, with group discounts available. Stephen Ministries 50th Anniversary Celebration and Learning Event – April 25
Founded in 1975, Stephen Ministries is celebrating 50 years of equipping God’s people for ministry. To mark this occasion, they are hosting a cross-denominational learning event in the Kansas City area on Saturday, April 25, at Village Presbyterian Church. This event, open to everyone, provides tools and inspiration for building a more caring world. With presentations on topics like the grief experience, what Jesus teaches us about empathy, unexpected ways to care, how congregations can help combat the mental health crisis and more.
