Herbert, have a minute? It’s Raja. 

Our campaign is racing towards our end-of-month deadline. This is our FINAL end-of-month deadline before voters begin going to the polls. 

That means this end-of-month goal is our most important yet. But to be honest, fundraising has been slower than we hoped this week.  

I’ve been huddling with our team, and we decided to be transparent with our top supporters on where we stand. Here’s a copy-paste from our finance spreadsheet:

We have just 3 days left to make up the difference, Herbert. And I won’t lie to you: after crunching the numbers, I’m getting a little nervous. 

Here’s why: A dark money Super PAC supporting my opponent is on the air with nearly $500,000 in ads. And it’s already been caught engaging in shady, illegal tactics. 

Right now, we’re on track to fall short of our goal. That could be absolutely devastating to our efforts to fight back and mobilize voters.
