FAIR Remains Committed to Fully Funding DHS
The DHS appropriations bill passed the House of Representatives last week by a 220-207 vote following negotiations between the Senate and House. This political standoff distracts from the realities on the ground for the men and women of DHS – who are facing heightened unrest and rising violent threats. Removing alien criminals who are gang members, terrorists, murderers, child predators, and fraudsters that exploit our laws and abuse our communities should be common sense, not controversial.
