The legislative session in Connecticut starts next week, and I wanted to take a moment to check in as we head into an important stretch of the year.

As our legislators head back to the Capitol, we are here to mobilize support for their work, turning priorities into progress. While legislators do the work inside the building, we help ensure that work is grounded in the voices, needs, and values of people across Connecticut.

This session will be shaped by efforts to address the cost of living, expand access to housing, focus on childcare, education, and protect our democracy. It will also be defined by a broader responsibility to make sure government works for people, not special interests. Our role is to help elevate these priorities, support Democratic leaders as they navigate difficult decisions, and hold the line against efforts that move Connecticut backward.

By staying active at the start of session, we strengthen our ability to support our Democratic leadership, build grassroots energy statewide, and push for solutions that reflect our shared values.
