This month marked one year since I was sworn in for my second term in Congress. And honestly — it’s been rough.

This Congress has been more unproductive than ever. House Republicans aren’t interested in governing. They’re focused on creating chaos, inciting violence, and enriching their friends and donors.

But despite everything, I’m still hopeful. Because I know a better world is possible — I’ve seen it.

I’ll always be grateful to you for helping make history by sending the first Gen Z member of Congress to Washington.

And we didn’t stop there. We kept organizing. We kept pushing. And together, we helped make real change – including getting the Biden Administration to establish the first-ever Office of Gun Violence Prevention.

That didn’t happen by accident. It happened because we refused to give up.

Right now, our government is in the hands of extremists and authoritarians who are dragging this country backward. But if we stand together again, we can vote these fascists out of office and finally make our government and economy work for the people.

It’s going to take a lot of work. I’m ready for it.
