Lt. Governor Burt Jones, a 2020 election denier, just handed the keys to our state’s election security to Salleigh Grubbs — another pro-Trump election denier. This is a blatant move to please Donald Trump and consolidate power by undermining the very system they falsely claim is broken. Meanwhile, Jones is using his office to enrich himself. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution exposed how Jones’s family stands to profit from a massive land development project, made possible by a law he personally pushed through the State Senate. This is the Republican playbook in Georgia: strip away voting rights and rewrite the rules so they can profit. If Burt Jones becomes governor, he won’t answer to Georgians — he’ll only answer to Donald Trump and his own self-interest. DPG is working overtime to expose him, hold him accountable, and keep him out of the governor’s office. But we can’t do it without you.
