| John,
I want to be clear.
The fight to protect sensitive voter data is not about politics. It is about the law.
The federal government does not get to demand private voter data in exchange for peace or security. That is not how our democracy works.
I will not bend. And I will not hand over your personal information protected by law.
If you believe Minnesota must remain a place where elections are run lawfully, and our democratic rights are preserved, will you chip in $10 or more today to help me keep fighting?

Minnesota’s election system works because people trust it. Because it is transparent, secure, and administered by Minnesotans who follow the rules.
This past weekend, federal actions in our state escalated in deeply disturbing ways and killed one of our neighbors. And instead of de-escalation, we saw an attempt to leverage fear and instability to extract unlawful concessions.
That is unacceptable.
I have been heartened by Minnesotans who have remained peaceful, law-abiding, and committed to one another even in this difficult moment.
We should continue to meet division with light and compassion.
And we should never give up our rights in the process. Join me in protecting our democratic rights by chipping in $10 or whatever you can right now →
Thank you for standing with me and for believing in the rule of law.
Steve
