Gerrymandering of congressional districts in Missouri (and other right-wing states) results in a loss of minority representation. Disenfranchisement of Latinx communities includes fear-driven disengagement from schools, work, and local government, which pushes people out of the 2-party system altogether.  Black voters are viewed monolithically, as a guaranteed vote for Democrats, which results in no real effort to address the needs of the Black working class.  Muslim leaders face portrayals of them as violent extremists, misogynists, and haters of American values.  Join our discussion about how to prevent the disenfranchisement of these marginalized groups, and offer genuine political participation to all people.
