Dear friends,

Last night, something powerful happened. I hope you were able to be there with us. Here is the recap ([link removed]) .

What began as grief and urgency became community. What could have been isolation became resolve. In just 24 hours, over 3,000 Catholics and people of faith came together to name the pain of this moment and discovered that we are not alone.

Together, we prayed, reflected, and listened deeply to voices from the ground in Minnesota and beyond, to women religious and bishops, and to organizers accompanying communities living with fear and uncertainty. Again and again, we heard a shared call: faithful witness begins with presence, grows through community, and must move us toward action. As several speakers reminded us, this moment is not a sprint, but a marathon—one sustained by prayer, solidarity, and hope.

If you weren’t able to join us live, you can watch the recording here ([link removed]) .

The gathering was never meant to be an endpoint. It’s the beginning.
Here are a few concrete next steps you can take right now:
* Contact your U.S. Senators ([link removed]) and urge them to oppose increased funding for ICE and CBP without clear safeguards that protect human dignity, family unity, and due process.
* Support communities in Minnesota through trusted mutual aid and advocacy partners responding on the ground (scroll to the MN flag below for links).
* Pray with us throughout Lent with free daily reflections through a justice lens ([link removed]) .
* Access a variety of learning and advocacy resources ([link removed]) responding to immigration enforcement for your classrooms, parishes, and faith-rooted communities.

Thank you for being part of this community. Thank you for listening deeply, loving boldly, and walking together toward the beloved community our faith calls us to build.

In hope and solidarity,
