I’m officially calling for the impeachment of Kristi Noem as Secretary of Homeland Security.

This is a critical moment for our country, and we need political courage from both Republicans and Democrats.

I was left with no choice after Secretary Noem ignored my repeated calls to open investigations into the murder of Renee Nicole Good in Minneapolis, the death of Nenko Gantchev, a detainee at the North Lake Processing Center in Baldwin, Michigan, and, most recently, the killing of Alex Pretti this past weekend.

Over the last year, Secretary Noem’s leadership has been reckless, chaotic, and corrupt. Under her purview, our country is less safe. It’s time for accountability.
