Hey John, it’s Mark Kelly. My friend Roy Cooper is running for Senate in North Carolina and needs our help. I hope you’ll read the message below from him, and rush a split donation between Roy's campaign and mine.

Hi John,

I’m Roy Cooper. I'm running to be the next U.S. Senator from North Carolina, the most-likely Senate seat to flip. And together, we’re going to win.

You may know this about me already, but before I ask for your financial support ahead of my January fundraising deadline, I want to take a moment to reintroduce myself and remind you why I’m in this race — and why I’m counting on you to be in it with me.

If you don’t need to read more, you can go ahead and split a donation between our campaign and Mark Kelly now.

I’m a proud father and husband. I’m a lifelong North Carolinian. The Carolina Hurricanes’ #1 fan. And I was honored to serve North Carolina as Governor, Attorney General, and a legislator.

🩺 During my time in office, I fought hard to expand Medicaid. It wasn’t easy — it took nearly a decade of advocacy, negotiation, and perseverance — but we got it done. And it brought 700,000 North Carolinians access to the care they need.

♻️ I helped build North Carolina’s clean energy economy, which brought good jobs to our communities while helping protect our environment for future generations.

♀️ Over and over, I used every power at my disposal to try to defend reproductive health care access from the far-right’s cruel, dangerous, anti-freedom abortion bans.

John, this state is my home. I wanted to serve North Carolina and our communities from right here — I didn’t plan on trying to go to Washington. But when I look at what’s happening in this country today, I know I can’t leave things as they are for my children, or for yours.

I’m running for the U.S. Senate because I’m fed up with seeing extreme politicians strip away our rights, drive up the cost of living, tear apart our democracy and gut health care and SNAP benefits for folks in need. I’m ready for the fight, and I’m ready to deliver for the people. But I can’t get to Washington without your help. We have a $500,000 online fundraising goal to meet this month, and falling behind might give the GOP the momentum they need to surge ahead. Please split anything you can between our campaign and Mark Kelly before our January deadline to close the gap.

Thanks for being with me,

Roy Cooper
