Everyone deserves to live in safety, free from fear. But ICE and Border Patrol are making our communities less safe. This Friday, the U.S. Senate will vote on whether to keep funding their violence.

ICE and Border Patrol agents murdered Alex Pretti and Renee Good in Minneapolis—two civilians who were trying to protect their neighbors. They shot and killed Keith Porter Jr. outside his home. And they asphyxiated Geraldo Lunas Campos in detention.

These killings are only the most recent examples of the brutality of ICE and Border Patrol. And they follow a deadly pattern: tens of thousands in detention, record deaths in custody, and violent raids nationwide.

This moment demands action now. This Friday, Congress has a choice. They can keep wasting our tax dollars on deportation, detention, and brutality. Or they can stop funding violence and invest in health care, food assistance, and programs that create real community safety.
