Friend,

I spent 26 years in uniform. As a JAG officer, my job wasn’t to be a partisan cheerleader—it was to uphold the Law of Armed Conflict and the Constitution. It was to serve my country and defend it against all enemies, foreign and domestic.

In the military, the law doesn't care about who you voted for in the last election. It doesn’t care about who you voted for in ANY election. It only cares if you’re right or wrong.

Washington has completely lost that clarity. They’ve replaced the Rule of Law with a loyalty oath to party bosses. Mike Rounds is a perfect encapsulation of how lost we’ve become, as he sits in a senior position on the Armed Services Committee and refuses to address blatant violations of war powers from the president.

I’m running as an Independent because I want to be the one Senator who isn't afraid to call balls and strikes. Whether it’s on stock trades or the reckless military strikes and imperial adventurism in Greenland, I will tell the truth.

We are closing out January with a massive goal to fund this Independent voice. Will you chip in $25 to help me reach the Senate? [ [link removed] ]
