John,
If applying to lead a 40 Days for Life vigil sounds scary, don't worry. You're not alone.
The idea of leading a campaign took Michele Mason way outside her comfort zone.
"I’m an introvert," Michele said. "I don’t like getting up in front of crowds and all this stuff."
But when she nearly lost her seventh child, Luke, following a devastating prenatal diagnosis, Michele took a leap of faith and applied to lead a 40 Days for Life campaign in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Since 2008, Michele has led 23 vigils resulting in:
- 28 confirmed babies saved from abortion
- 1 abortion worker who converted and quit her job
- the establishment of a new pregnancy help center
