Feeling extra cold this winter, Climate Champion? It could be yet another effect of climate change. While winters are warming across the board, periods of extreme cold are also symptoms of our changing climate. So, whether you're buried in snow or wondering why it’s unseasonably warm – climate change could be the culprit. This winter, North America and Europe had their second-warmest Novembers on record. In the same month, parts of Florida broke records with a cold spell that dropped temperatures to 26 degrees Fahrenheit in some areas, abnormally cold for that far south. Increasingly unpredictable winter weather poses a real danger to communities, especially as it hits places unprepared for frigid temperatures and heavy snow. Our global network knows firsthand the impacts of climate change around the world – and the solutions we need to fight it. Thank you for everything you do. - Your friends at Climate Reality
