As you know, Immigrants’ List Civic Action, Inc. has been engaged in an all-out effort to prevent Donald Trump from getting a second term, working exclusively in the battleground states to ensure that Latinx, Asian-American & Pacific Islander, Arab-American and Muslim, African and Afro-Caribbean immigrant communities bring out new American voters.
Because of your generous contributions, we have been able to release 5 commercials, across 8 different states. We’ve aired ads on TV, Radio, and Online, with over 75,000 views to date:
- Words Matter: The commercial highlights Donald Trump's anti-Asian rhetoric during the Coronavirus pandemic that caused a nationwide uproar and had a dangerous impact on the Asian American community. (English | Vietnamese | Chinese | Korean)
- Greatest Threat: This commercial highlights Donald Trump's drastic change in messaging from initially supporting the Haitian community to his hateful rhetoric and turning his back during a time of need. (English | Creole Radio)
- Embargo: This commercial highlights Trump’s lies to the Cuban community in an attempt to violate the Cuban embargo for his own personal gain right before his presidency. (Spanish | English)
- 2,975: This commercial highlights Donald Trump's abhorrent leadership and blatant disregard for the people of Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria. 2,975 represents the number of deaths because of Hurricane Maria. (Spanish | English )
- Putin’s Puppet: This ad highlights Trump’s empty promises to the Venezuelan community, stating that he would get rid of Maduro but immediately backing down after speaking to Putin. (Spanish | English)
- Opportunities: This ad highlights how Donald Trump's racist policies and bigoted rhetoric has endangered the Arab American and Muslim communities' lives. (English)
- Immigrants' Make America Great: This ad highlights how Donald Trump has divided our nation the last 4 years with his anti-immigrant rhetoric. He wants to harm those who did not vote for him, and especially the ones who cannot vote for him. (English | Spanish)
