Breastcancer.org Virtual Town Hall

Dear John,

I hope that you are doing as well as possible during these difficult times.

I'm reaching out to share new and important information on staying safe and informed while facing the challenges that many of us have been experiencing.

In the spring, when we started reporting on how COVID-19 was impacting people with breast cancer, we didn't know that months later the struggles caused by the pandemic would shift in new and unexpected ways. But here we are, facing a variety of ongoing challenges for people at all stages of diagnosis and treatment. For example, through our COVID-19 survey, we learned that about 65% of patients experienced some sort of delay in their care in April and May.

As long as the pandemic threatens the well-being of our community, we'll be focused on providing trustworthy information, expert guidance, and support. You are not alone. Your health, safety, relationships, and quality of life are what matter most to me and the team at Breastcancer.org.

We hope you’ll join us on Thursday, July 30, at 2 PM ET for a virtual town hall meeting on COVID-19 and Breast Cancer Care. Everyone who registers will receive a recording of the event and a link to the Special Report we've been developing with insights from healthcare providers from around the country.

Please join us! Also, please extend the invitation to your family, friends, and colleagues. I look forward to coming together as a community this Thursday.

Stay safe and be well,
