After members of the press and Pennsylvania legislatures misgendered PA Secretary of Health Dr. Rachel Levine and called for her resignation, the Bloomsburg Fair has joined in with the latest transphobic attack.
The Bloomsburg Fair's Facebook page shared photos of a man wearing a dress and wig in a dunk tank. The post called Dr. Levine by name stating that the booth was "a hit" and that they "wonder why so many people were trying to dunk you."
We're disgusted. For the past several months, Dr. Levine has continued to provide us with calm and clear updates, keeping us informed and safe. She has been direct and focused on the facts, following the science to ensure Pennsylvanians have all the knowledge necessary to make it through this crisis.
We are so grateful for and appreciative of the work Dr. Levine has done in the past few months as Pennsylvania Secretary of Health. Today, we are conducting a survey and would love to hear from you.
