Thank you for supporting survivors and systems change

The Polaris Post

Dear John,

At the start of this new year, Polaris is excited to enter a new chapter focused on strengthening the constellation of support for victims and survivors, changing the systems that enable exploitation, and aligning efforts across the anti-trafficking field.

Even after the transition of the National Human Trafficking Hotline, our work continues with clarity and purpose. And we couldn’t do this without you. Thank you for being part of our community and for sustaining our mission to end sex and labor trafficking while supporting survivors on their journeys to freedom.

We’re deeply grateful to enter 2026 alongside you.
The Polaris Team

Answering the Call in January and Beyond

As National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month comes to a close, we want to thank you for standing with Polaris and with survivors.

Your partnership — whether through learning, advocacy, or giving — makes this work possible.

We invite you to keep spreading awareness throughout the year! Take and share our Human Trafficking 101 course, which has already educated more than 68,000 people. Or explore our blog to hear directly from survivor leaders whose insights are shaping the future of the anti-trafficking movement.

Policy Win: Trafficking Survivors Relief Act

On January 23, the Trafficking Survivors Relief Act (TSRA) was officially signed into law! After nine years of advocacy, survivors of human trafficking now have a pathway to clear federal criminal records tied to their exploitation.

Polaris will continue walking with survivors through TSRA implementation and ongoing advocacy for criminal records relief, working to ensure they can fully benefit from this historic legislation.
