Like all of us, my daily life has changed over the last five months, but sadly,
one thing remains the same: The lonely "outside dogs" I encounter each day are still suffering immensely,
particularly during the extreme heat of recent weeks.

Their water bowls stay empty or dirty. Their food bowl—if they even have one—is
usually empty as well. They are bothered constantly by fleas, ticks, flies, and
mosquitoes. Most of them have never been to a vet—and if they get sick or injured, their ailments go untreated.

Our field team has identified 27 dogs we must help in the next week —and it will cost $7,155 to provide a sturdy doghouse and the additional care
that they need to make their lives a bit less miserable. Will you pitch in now
