In November, Defend Our Courts helped lead the defense of Pennsylvania's Supreme Court. We stopped MAGA from seizing control of the court that oversees how elections are run in the nation’s biggest swing state. It was a blowout victory and a crucial win for democracy.
But what happened at the White House made it clear that the battle against a Trump third term is far from over. Trump has a fallback plan, and it runs straight through the courts in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, and Wisconsin.
In 2026, the Supreme Courts of these critical states are on the ballot. If MAGA can buy these seats, they won’t need to win an election in 2028, they’ll just have their hand-picked judges throw out results they don’t like.
The threat didn’t go away after PA. It just quadrupled.
