It didn't take long for the Trump-Vance administration to start following through on their threats to erode health care access and reproductive rights.

Signing a law that "defunds" Planned Parenthood -- putting 200 health centers at risk of shutting down -- was a top priority. The administration rolled back protections for LGBTQ+ communities, reinstated the global gag rule, advanced an anti-civil rights agenda, and scrubbed accurate scientific information from government websites.

After a year of enduring these attacks, a few things are clear: Cutting people off from care, reversing hard-won progress, and this whole agenda of cruelty are all deeply unpopular. And we have seen time and again that fighting back and refusing to sit idly by is the most effective way to protect our communities.
