Hey there — my name is Kegan Zimmermann, and I'm thrilled to be joining Team Kaptur as Marcy's new campaign manager. I want to take a moment to tell you a little bit about my background, and why this race means so much to me personally.
I grew up in the Heartland just like Marcy. My dad is a farmer, and my mom is a bus driver for the local school. They raised me to work hard and support our neighbors, and I got my start in this work advocating for farmers and rural communities. I’m fighting to ensure everyone has the tools they need to care for their families, no matter their zip code.
I've admired Marcy's work in Congress for years. She's a champion for farmers, for working people, for Midwest communities, and for our Great Lakes ecosystem. And OH-09 is one of the most important battleground districts in Congress. Defending this seat is key to retaking the House in November.
I couldn't be more excited to get to work and win this race. Right now, we're doing everything we can to grow our team, get our message out, and re-elect Marcy this November.
