[ [link removed] ]Tell Congress It's Time to Hold ICE Accountable

Hi John,

Once again, we're here talking about immigration agents, who
have [ [link removed] ]executed yet another American citizen, this one a nurse who worked
with veterans.

Regardless of your stance on immigration, it goes against our core values
as a nation to have a masked police force in American cities, arresting
people and even killing them with no due process, no justification, and no
oversight.

When the administration minimizes these events and the Department of
Justice refuses to conduct full, independent investigations or even to
cooperate fully with state criminal investigations, immigration agents get
the message that their actions are approved and should continue.

That's a recipe for escalating brutality.

[ [link removed] ]It's time for Congress to step up and demand accountability for ICE.

Sign this petition now to demand that Congress:

 1. Directly investigate ICE's and CBP's use of force and the instructions
coming from the top of DHS and the White House
 2. Push for independent, full criminal investigations of these cases
 3. Cut off ICE funding as long as the abuses continue

Recent reports say [ [link removed] ]Border Patrol Commander Greg Bovino is leaving
Minneapolis and may have lost his role as commander-at-large. But these
killings are not just about a few “bad apples” that need to be moved
around. We need real action to end the brutality and lawlessness we're
seeing, and real consequences for top leadership.

Continuing to hold ICE accountable starts with us pushing our members of
Congress to have courage and demand better.
