Hello John!

🎉We're excited to announce that Sister District is becoming States Win, which means our new team name will be States Win DC Metro Area!

After years of organizing, we continue building power in states because it is one of the most effective ways to protect our communities, advance freedom, and build lasting progress. Our new name communicates those goals quickly, clearly, and confidently.

Even in tough political moments, state legislatures deliver real wins on:

  • Reproductive freedom
  • Voting rights
  • Gun violence prevention
  • Economic justice
  • Election integrity
  • Protecting immigrants and working families

With Trump in the White House, the best place to create positive change for our communities is in state legislatures. If you’ve been looking for a way to take meaningful action, investing in states is how we win! We’ll be back in battleground states like Arizona, Georgia, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin for the midterms.

Over the next few weeks, expect to see our email and social media accounts change to States Win DC Metro Area. We're still us and we still have the same mission, but with a brand that better reflects our work and communicates it more effectively.

If you’re excited about this new chapter, we’d love your help making this launch as impactful as possible. Please reach out to a friend who may be looking for an organizing home and share more about States Win — and if you’re able, please chip in to support States Win HQ today.
