The Trump administration has clearly given ICE the green light to treat being non-white as probable cause for harassment.

My office is monitoring increased ICE activity in our own district. People are scared, neighbors are uncertain about what federal agents might do next, and hardworking families feel targeted for nothing more than how they look.

This is not what public safety looks like. It is chaos and fear, and it undermines civil rights and public trust.

I voted last week to block all of ICE's funding. Unfortunately, Republicans control the House and were able to still push the bill through.

This is exactly why the 2026 election matters so much. We need to flip the House so we can restore accountability, protect our communities, and stop this administration from using federal power to intimidate our neighbors.
