David Barton Joins
Oklahoma Lawmakers for
“In God We Trust” Dedication

David Barton recently joined WallBuilders’ PFLN legislators at the Cleveland County Courthouse in Norman, Oklahoma, for the dedication of the words “In God We Trust”, prominently displayed atop the courthouse. During the ceremony, David shared the history and significance of this phrase in America, presenting original artifacts that highlight our nation’s long-standing tradition of acknowledging God.
Tim Barton Joins Texas Governor Greg Abbott

Tim was honored to meet with Texas Governor Greg Abbott last week to discuss issues of faith and freedom. Last year, Texas passed historic legislation—signed into law by Governor Abbott—including measures to display the Ten Commandments in public schools and to once again permit prayer in public schools.

Tim Barton Speaks at Texas Tarrant County Courthouse Ten Commandments Monument Dedication

Following the restoration of the Ten Commandments to Texas classrooms, local officials in Tarrant County, Texas, are now bringing them back to public buildings. Thanks to WallBuilders’ PFLN Member Commissioner Matt Krause, the county commission voted 3-2 to erect a Ten Commandments display closely resembling the monument on the Texas State Capitol grounds.

Tim Barton highlighted America’s rich history and tradition regarding the Ten Commandments. Hundreds of people, including faith leaders, elected officials, and community members, gathered to witness this historic event. Watch Tim Barton’s presentation at the Courthouse below.

Legislative and Court Updates

Members of our WallBuilders’ PFLN network successfully passed legislation in Louisiana, Texas, and Arkansas to restore the Ten Commandments to classroom walls. Last week, the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals heard cases challenging these laws. Please join us in prayer that the Court will uphold the Supreme Court’s guidance—that public displays that align with America’s long-standing history and traditions can be permitted—and that the Ten Commandments will remain proudly in the public square.
