It's been a tough couple of days here in Maine with expanded ICE operations across the state.

Last week, we saw masked federal agents target Mainers with no criminal record, including a student, a civil engineer, and a correctional officer. All of this is happening as we witness yet another citizen murdered by ICE in Minnesota.

This terror is being inflicted on us by our own federal government. It is not making us safer in any way.

There aren't any words to take away the pain, the fear, and the anxiety that Mainers are feeling right now, but we must remain vigilant and continue to show up for our communities. If you haven't done so already, save the Maine ICE Watch hotline in your phone: 207-544-9989.
