Our latest snapshot of enrollment trends in Washington State shows four-year universities and community and technical colleges diverging:


* Four-year universities, both public and private, have shown a slight but persistent decline over the past five years.
* Meanwhile, community and technical colleges have shown steady increases in fall enrollment in each of the past three years.
