Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman exemplifies courage and leadership. He defended
our nation in the U.S. Army, and he stood up for our democracy when he
testified before Congress during the first impeachment of Donald Trump.

On July 25, 2019, Alex witnessed a telephone call between President Donald
Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, during which Trump
pressured President Zelensky to announce an investigation into then-former
Vice President Joe Biden in order to continue receiving United States
military aid.

You might remember when Alex bravely testified before Congress that he
could speak out against the most powerful man in the world because “here
right matters.” I still believe that, and Alex and I worked together to
shed light on a blatant abuse of power by the president of the United
States — and we will do so again.

Now, Alex is running for U.S. Senate in Florida to continue the fight for
our democracy.

Democrats have delivered statewide wins and razor-thin margins in Florida
in recent years. That means that, with enough resources, Alex has a real
shot at winning this race and flipping this Senate seat blue.

After the work we did together in Trump’s first impeachment, Alex and I
were the target of constant MAGA attacks. This race will be no different.

The momentum is on our side to win back the Senate for Democrats this
