But all of this top-down climate denial doesn’t reflect the inspiring desire for meaningful change we see in this country every day.

Despite all the damage we’ve seen over the past year of this all-out assault on climate policy in the US, our grassroots movement is still securing wins around the world.
In the first half of 2025, renewable energy overtook coal as the world’s leading electricity source. That’s huge. And at this rate, clean energy’s power capacity will double by 2030. We’ve also seen progress in ocean protection with the High Seas Treaty taking effect this year, and forest protection with Brazil announcing plans for a roadmap to end deforestation.
This progress is the result of decades of climate action. We can’t afford to slow down now, and Climate Reality won’t.
