VIDEO OF THE DAY: Top Trump Border Patrol official sent packing over Minneapolis debacle

It certainly looks like Greg Bovino, the Temu Gestapo henchman who has overseen Trump's calamitous immigrant crackdown in Minneapolis and elsewhere, is finally being put out to pasture. According to The Atlantic, Bovino is being removed from his role as Border Patrol "commander at large" and will return to his former job in El Centro, California, where he is expected to officially hang up his jackboots and retire.

Bovino isn't getting the axe for failing to do his job, mind you. He was ordered to put on a show and exact maximum cruelty, which he dutifully obliged. Unfortunately for Greg, Americans are understandably horrified at what they've witnessed, and it's making Bovino's superiors — namely Donald Trump — look bad.

Trump fundraises off ICE raids days after deadly Minneapolis shooting
While many Republicans are entering freak-out mode over the ongoing debacle unfolding in Minneapolis and even the Trump regime is taking tepid steps to supposedly de-escalate, there's still one group in the MAGA tent that Donald feels entirely comfortable keeping it real with: whoever's opening and responding to those damn fundraising emails.

Just 48 hours after 37-year-old VA nurse Alex Pretti was mercilessly shot and killed by federal immigration agents in the Minnesota, America's grifter-in-chief sent out yet another fundraising email explicitly raising money — off ICE raids. The email, couched as a "MANDATORY POLL," asks if supporters would back ICE raids in their own communities if Trump ordered them and, of course, asks for more money to help Dear Leader continue his crusade. Unsolicited tip: if you watch ICE goons publicly execute an innocent US citizen and your first thought is to give MORE money to the authoritarian carnival barker giving the orders, it's time for a colon cleanse and good, long look in the mirror.

Take Action: Invoke the 25th Amendment to remove Trump from office now!

Virginia voters can stop Trump’s election rigging — and level the playing field

Virginians For Fair Elections Donald Trump and MAGA Republicans are trying to rig the 2026 midterms by pressuring red states to redraw congressional maps behind closed doors — cutting voters out of the process and stacking the deck before a single ballot is cast. Virginia has a chance to do something different. A proposed, temporary constitutional amendment would give voters — not politicians — the final say. Under the amendment, proposed congressional maps would be made public, and Virginians would be able to review them and vote on them before any maps take effect. Now, Virginians for Fair Elections is launching a statewide effort to make sure voters know what’s at stake — and to ensure Virginia leads by protecting fair representation instead of following Trump’s rigged playbook. Will you chip in today to help level the playing field and defend our democracy?

Trump struggles to come up with "Alzheimer's" to describe father's illness, says he doesn't have it
In a new interview published by New York Magazine yesterday, America's 79-year-old nincompoop-in-chief veered off topic to talk about his late father's health, claiming the famously racist landlord and real estate developer had a "heart that couldn't be stopped." Trump, who has been caught nodding off more and more during meetings and whose chronically bruised hands have sparked spirited speculation about his own health, recalled, "He had one problem. At a certain age, about 86, 87, he started getting, what do they call it?” He pointed to his forehead and looked to his press secretary for the word that escaped him. "Alzheimer’s," Karoline Leavitt added. "Like an Alzheimer’s thing," Trump said. "Well, I don't have it." When asked if he was concerned he might suffer the same fate, the grifter-in-chief responded, "No, I don't think about it at all. You know why?" he said. "Because whatever it is, my attitude is whatever." Oh, we know, Donald.

Take Action: Demand Congress stop Trump's illegal war!

Minnesota judge summons ICE leader to court, threatens contempt sanctions
A Bush-appointed judge has ordered ICE chief Todd Lyons to appear in his courtroom and face the music for the agency's ongoing defiance of judicial orders, including the slow-walking of freeing detainees who judges have ordered to be released immediately. "The court’s patience is at an end," US District Judge Patrick Schiltz said in a three-page order issued Monday night, demanding the acting director explain himself "personally." Lyons faces contempt if he doesn't comply. He should be facing life in prison, but hopefully that comes later.

"Fire Kristi Noem into the Sun": National Review publishes Nuclear takedown of DHS secretary

With an overwhelming majority of Americans rightly appalled at Trump's fascist crackdown in Minnesota, GOP lawmakers, operatives, and pundits with a nervous eye on the November midterms desperately want to change the narrative. Enter The National Review, which just published a scathing takedown of Gestapo Barbie Kristi Noem, calling for her immediate removal as secretary of Homeland Security.

In an op-ed titled "Fire Kristi Noem into the Sun," Jeffrey Blehar wrote, "Any hope of Trump’s presidency clawing its way out of the hole it has dug for itself begins with firing Kristi Noem, current secretary of Homeland Security and the administration’s most prominent 'ridealong disaster' during its first year. Preferably out of a rocket, and into the sun. Damage control is needed, and she is the most visible avatar of damage." Blehar continued, "Stanch the bleeding by canning your most incompetent lieutenant." Far be it from us to point out the obvious, but firing one of your subordinates for executing your own orders perfectly is a truly curious play, even for someone as reckless and volatile as Donald Trump.

Sean Hannity now says immigration raids at Home Depot are not "a good idea"
Uh, they were never a good idea, but it's nice to see you come around on this one, Sean. Now do the several hundred other objectively awful Trump policies you've incessantly championed next.

Trump plots to open 90% (!!!) of U.S. coastal waters to oil and gas drilling

Earthjustice: While our climate change scientists are desperately calling for an end to fossil fuel pollution before there’s no turning back, Donald Trump just announced a huge handout to Big Oil that would be catastrophic for the environment and our communities. The Trump team has unveiled a new National Offshore Drilling Plan that would open up the vast majority of our coastal waters to oil and gas drilling that would put our coastal communities and their livelihoods under threat from destructive oil spills — not to mention super-charging the natural disasters of the future. We need to stand together as one in rejecting Trump’s dangerous drilling plan. Click hear to make your voice heard and say NO to offshore drilling expansion!

Trump moved to cut funding for ICE body cameras, pared back oversight
Prior to unleashing Trump's Gestapo goon squad on the streets of Chicago, Portland, Minneapolis, and elsewhere the MAGA cult leader's administration worked behind the scenes to make damn sure those very same cosplay bounty hunters would NOT be equipped with body cameras. Cameras worn by ‌law enforcement officers have been central to police reform for very obvious reasons. And despite a staggering $170 BILLION windfall in funding for Donald's immigrant crackdown purge, the Trump regime curiously pressed Congress to slash funding specifically for ICE body cameras. They also laid off nearly all staffers working for three internal watchdogs conducting oversight of immigration agencies, undermining their capacity to investigate abuses.

It's patently clear what's going on here. Were lawful citizens and peaceful protesters not on the streets of Minneapolis recording the tragic killings of Renee Good and Alex Pretti by federal officers, we all know exactly whose narratives would've won the day. Authoritarianism is on our doorsteps and in our neighborhoods, folks. We must continue resisting and demand real accountability.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom accuses TikTok of suppressing content critical of Trump
Now hold on just a second, Gavin. Just because the Trump regime hand-picked the group of Trump-friendly investors set to reap billions in the TikTok "takeover" and tapped Oracle — led by longtime MAGA darling Larry Ellison — to reprogram the app's content recommendation algorithm doesn't mean the platform will just suddenly start throttling content critical of the MAGA cult leader. Oh, wait, it already has? Well, surely, that's just a huge coincidence. Jeez, why do logical people insist on connecting very obvious dots flashing right in front of their faces?!

Minnesota Republican accidentally reveals he's just verbatim posting statements provided by the Trump team
As if it couldn't be more obvious that congressional Republicans simply exist to rubber-stamp everything Trump says and does, Rep. Brad Finstad of Minnesota's 1st District posted a statement about the MAGA cult leader's phone call with Gov. Tim Walz that began, "Hi Brad. I am sending you a post on socials regarding the trump walz conversation, this has been approved by staff. Will be using the picture attached and caption for all three platforms."

The murder of Alex Pretti happened IN HIS STATE, where his own constituents are getting terrorized by Trump's ICE goons, and this bozo can't even be bothered to craft his own opinion on the issue. Instead, he's just copying and pasting Approved Propaganda from Dear Leader. Folks, we really have to vote these people out.
