Good morning Jack,

Education freedom is no longer a future debate — it’s unfolding right now in Mississippi.

With HB2 having passed the Mississippi House and now moving to the Senate, school choice has moved from theory to action. That’s why we’re bringing Corey DeAngelis to Jackson on Tuesday, February 10, for a timely, high-impact discussion on what education freedom means for Mississippi families.

Corey DeAngelis is one of the most influential voices in the national school choice movement. His research and advocacy have helped shape education reforms across the country at a moment when education freedom is gaining unprecedented momentum — including support from the Trump administration and the U.S. Department of Education, which has publicly highlighted Mississippi’s progress. Hearing directly from a national leader while Mississippi legislation is actively moving is a rare opportunity.

This event also brings together a strong lineup of Mississippi leaders who are advancing education freedom on the ground:

  • Starla Brown, State Director of Americans for Prosperity Mississippi, leading grassroots efforts to turn policy into action

  • Lindsey Beckham, State Chair, Mississippi Legislative Chair, and Madison County Chapter Chair for Moms for Liberty, elevating parent voices in education policy

  • Leah Ferretti, Director of Mississippi Ready, focused on expanding education options for Mississippi families

Following the program, attendees will have the opportunity for Q&A with the speakers, offering a chance to engage directly with both national and state leaders shaping the future of education in Mississippi.
