So when you are walking through your neighborhood, chances are good that in every house you pass, one person who lives there hasn't read one of our most important founding documents! But there's one more stat I'd like to give you... 26% cannot name a single right protected by the First Amendment-not freedom of religion, not free speech, not freedom of assembly-not a single one. Imagine citizens of all ages learning about the design and purpose of the Constitution...imagine them having the chance to understand the beauty of our founding documents and how they've been undermined.
